The film ‘Caught in the Net’ is a brutal, explicit encounter with the abuse and violence that lurk over female minors in cyberspace. With this debate, we will attempt to deconstruct online predators in our local context but also, once again, remind ourselves that introducing comprehensive sexual education in school curriculum is crucial for tackling any type of gender- based violence.

Kristina Lelovac is an actress and associate professor at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Skopje. As an actress she performed in independent theatre productions and performances, film and television projects and has collaborated on interdisciplinary research art projects. At the moment she is working on her Ph.D. thesis in the field of Theatre Studies. She is a member of several activist initiatives and one of the founders of the Festival of Feminist Culture and Action ПРВО ПА ЖЕНСКО (FIRSTBORN GIRL).
