Zeynep Güzel

Head of Doc Station, Berlinale Talents, Senior Consultant at Documentary Association of Europe

Zeynep Güzel is a filmmaker and consultant based in Berlin. Zeynep joined the Berlinale Talents team for running the Doc Station in 2021 and has been a senior consultant at the Documentary Association of Europe (DAE) since its foundation. Zeynep was the head of the Yeni Film Fund founded by Anadolu Kültür and !f Istanbul Independent Films Festival between 2015 and 2019 in Turkey. Zeynep produced three documentaries: Beginnings (2013), Come Rain or Shine (2019, also written and directed by her) and Impressions of a Summer (2020). She works as a workshop expert on dramaturgy and storytelling, international grant writing, artistic development, and co-financing and incubation strategies on a regular basis. Zeynep was a fellow of the 2021 Berlin Artist in Residency (AiR) at Nipkow Program.

Brigid O’Shea

Co-founder of Documentary Association of Europe

Brigid O’Shea is an Australian native who has worked for European film festivals and documentary organisations since 2008. Holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts obtained in Melbourne and Berlin, she started at the Berlinale Talent Campus in 2008. She worked for various Berlinale departments as a freelancer until 2014, including the EFM and Co-Production Market, until taking a more focused approach on creative documentary. This came from coordinating the DOK Industry Programme from 2009-2015, which allowed her to also freelance for the Institute of Documentary Film in Prague, for Documentary Campus Masterschool, and Berlin-based production companies. She was appointed Head of DOK Industry Programme in January 2015. She regularly tutors on topics like European co-financing, cultural management and festival strategies in places like North America and East Europe. In February 2020 she co-launched the Documentary Association of Europe.

Victor Ede

Producer, Cinephage Productions

Victor Ede started producing in 2014 within Cinephage productions. He has produced 18 films, mostly international coproductions with a current slate of a dozen of internationnal projects. His films are often coproduced with French and European broadcasters or for the big screen. Victor Ede is currently deputy member of CNC FAIA-ADR commission, member of DAE, co-president of the Producers union of the SUD-PACA region (LPA). He’s cofounded CINEPHAGE (production), TANGENTE (theatrical distribution), IMAGE FANTÔME (postproduction) and in 2024 OPEN KITCHEN FILMS (internationnal distribution). He’s participating to several workshop and commissions as a tutor, selector or expert.

Tancrède Rivière

Tancrède Rivière (b. 1989) is a French writer based in Paris and Marseilles. Alongside his work in poetry and research, he has been for several years a screenwriting collaborator on both documentary and fiction films.
