At a time when the need to radically transform our relationship with all living things, and in particular the animal world, is becoming more urgent by the day, this film makes an original “ecological” proposal. Rather than targeting a specific phenomenon of animal abuse or exploitation, it invites us to reflect deeply on the whole paradigm of cohabitation between human and non-human animals. Neither simply denouncing the situation nor passing moral judgement, the directors use cinema as a means of crafting a reflective experience and suggest that we stop looking at animals and start letting ourselves be looked at by them.
