DOK.fest München (Munich, Germany), DocsBarcelona (Spain), MakeDox (Skopje, North Macedonia) and FIPADOC (Biarritz, France) are pleased to announce the creation of a network named FestDocsNetwork. 

This partnership between four key documentary festivals emerges through a common aim to support and promote extraordinary creative documentaries, increasing their accessibility to ever wider audience. 

“For us, the most important thing is that documentaries we are programming in all our festivals are given the chance of being seen. Our four festivals join together their strength, their expertise and their hearts to ensure documentary films the largest exposure. The crisis we are currently experiencing allows us to confirm the fundamental importance to work together” representatives of FestDocsNetwork said. 

In future, the four festivals will support each other in programming films from their respective countries. They will also arrange for visits to the festivals by key industry experts from each country. 

FestDocsNetwork was announced during DOK.fest München @home that takes place from May 6 to 24. Further information and more details of the partnership will be disclosed during DocsBarcelona Festival Online, from May 19 to 31.
